This time I am working on K Patterson's Father-In-Law. His name was General Wilson born 13 March 1869 in Kentucky. Died 8 July 1951 and is buried at Lynn Camp. His wife was Rosabella or Rose Bella or Rosa Bella or...well you get the picture....Lee daughter of Andrew Mack Lee and Delila Golden. In 1900 General Wilson and his family are living on Poplar Creek, Knox county. Did aliens drop him off before that? Did he appear out of nowhere a full grown man? I am beginning to wonder. Does anyone out there know anything about General Wilson? Who were his parents? I can not find him in the 1870 or 1880 census. General Wilson's daughter Sallie married K Patterson who named a son General also has a Grandson named General. General Wilson and Rosie had 12 children: Henry Smith / Mack / Bertha / Sallie / WIlliam H. / Ben / Jenny / Jency S. / Levi / Allos / Charlie / and Flora. Thanks again, Karen
Swan Pond is in Knox County on County Road 11. If you take 11 out of Barbourville it's not to far from the Faulkner Cemetery. My grandfather John H. Sears married Fannie Mae Golden, she was his second wife. She was the daughter of James Golden and Malinda Jones. Also Grandpa John's brother Joseph Sears married Fannie's siter Allie Golden. Do you have any info on these people. These marriages were around 1914 and 1915 in Teaque Kentucky, Knox County. Thanks, Pati Sears-Burnett

Haven't looked at this part of the family in a while. Tilman Patterson was my mom's GGrandfather and her Grandparents were Paulina Elizabeth Patterson (daughter of Tilman and Polly McKinney) and Albert Lawson. I always thought Tilman was born between 1796 and 1810, and that John Fletcher was Tilman's natural son with Keziah Gipson...and wasn't sure about Wm Patterson. Would love some help. Thank you, LaVerne.

Well now we have narrowed the 1940 between my guess of 2008 and 2075 so it is coming, between my life time and my grandchildren and possibly their children, Laughter is the best medicine, it helps with goofs too. I've done a few good ones my self. Brenda

So if I tell you go north, be sure to go south LOL. I got turned around, but in my defense, the family didn't know where they wanted to live either. My Mother's Maternal Grandparents?, Both born in KY, supposedly married in TN, gave birth to first child in KY, 1920 census til prior to 1930 were in Ill. 1930 Census in KY, had to be in TN by 1932 for birth of more children, Mother's Grandmother died in TN in 1939 during birth of their last child, Then between Jan 1939 and Nov 1939 her Grandfather remarried and went back to Illinois and died there in 1965. My Grandmother (Maternal) was born in Illinois in 1922 and they were back in Illinois after April1940. So my Grandmother was either married in TN prior to her Mother's death or married in Illinois or IA where my Aunt was born in April 1940. My Grandfather was born and From IA. Their second Child, my Mother was born in Illinois and so was their third child. My Grandmother is still living at least as of 2002 per telephone conversation, She lives in KY, can't ask her for much truth since she lives in the Land of Denial. Do you know where that is? smile. Grandma and Grandfather divorced in 1943/44 so grandma could marry 2nd time and lives in KY. Don't know if divorced in Illinois or KY, her second group of children born in KY. Maybe someone in KY would have knowledge of any of this mess. Thanks again for directions. Brenda

I am at work now and my notes are all at home. I don't have a lot of info but glad to share what I know.
I think it will be released in 2012 or 72 years after the census year. The 1930 census was released in 2002, but it took a year or more for it to be prepared and available on line.
