He was born at Litt Carr, KY on February 23, 1945 to Willis Amburgey and Dovie Mosley Amburgey. He was preceded in death by 1 son- Mac Douglas Amburgey. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife- Betty Ruth Martin Amburgey; 1 Dauhter- Tracy Amburgey; 4 Grandchildren- Tanner Douglas Crawford, Brent Andrew Hall, Caleb Bruce Amburgey and Arianna Nancy Amburgey; a host of Brothers and Sister, Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services for Hiram Douglas Amburgey will be held 1 PM Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel with Richard Spencer officiating.
