    2. In loving memory of Jimmy "Burgey" Amburgey, 60, of Guilford, Indiana who died Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at his residence. He was born at home on June 10, 1950 in Kings Creek, Kentucky to Cleave and Lonnie (Fields) Amburgey. He moved to Indiana around the age of 16 and remained here for the rest of his life. He was employed with River Road Auto Parts in Cincinnati, Ohio for 35 years. He worked for Mel Shapiro who was not only his boss but a good friend. Jimmy lived and breathed cars and trucks. Whether buying and selling, or trading and junking, automobiles were his true passion. It was also how he provided for his family. Survivors include his Wife of 34 years, Debra (Wells) Amburgey of Guilford; three Children whom he loved very much, Samantha Amburgey (Alan Schilling) of Yorkville, Indiana, Shane Amburgey of North Hogan, Indiana and James Amburgey (Stephanie Uhl) of Yorkville, Indiana; and one very special Granddaughter, Grace Amburgey, who turned his world upside down; three Brothers, David Amburgey and Danny Amburgey, both of Yulee, Florida, and Grover Amburgey of Kentucky; six Sisters, Marie Parker and Janice Ratliff, and Diana Parker, all of Yulee, Florida, Sara Lee Amburgey of Ohio, and Glady's Amburgey of Kentucky; and many Nieces and Nephews, including a special Nephew, Johnny Ray Amburgey of Rainford, Florida. In addition to his Parents, Cleave and Lonnie Amburgey he was preceded in death by his Son, Michael Amburgey; one Brother, Edward "Edtoe" Amburgey; and one Sister, Ruby Amburgey. The visitation will be Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana 47041. The memorial service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be directed to the family or given to a charity of the donor's choice.
