Whew!!! Garnard, tell us which Byram you have in your book. I have a Byram who had son Jackson Combs. Family tradition says this Byram move to Indiana and remarried. This is also recorded in one of the Diary entrys of Dr Dickey. This Byram is the one I am interested in. He owned land in Knott County at Irishman Creek near the Carr Fork Lake Boat Dock. John W Combs purchased parts of the Biram Combs farm from Hilliard and Shepherd SMITH, sons of Alexander SMITH and Mary Ashley. Alexander Smith and Mary Ashley are my interest.
