He was born August 28, 1926 at Litt Carr, KY to Byrd Amburgey and Bertha Hall Amburgey. He was preceded in death by his wife-Lona Amburgey. He is survived by 1 brother- Buster (Rachel) Amburgey; Sister-in-law- Lula Perkins; A host of Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services for Jeff Amburgey will be held 1:00 PM Monday, September 6, 2010 at the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel with Ronnie Robinson and Emery Caudill officiating. Burial will follow in the Jasper A. Amburgey Cemetery at Litt Carr, KY. Friends may call for visitation at the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel after 6:00 PM Saturday and anytime on Sunday with additional services Sunday evening at 7:00 PM. Military rites will be conducted Monday at the chapel by the Hindman Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans.
Lynda Bertha was b 1 Mar 1906, Knott Co to Reuben Hall and Catholine Lena Hall. Not certain if Catholine was a Hall before she married Reuben. Also not certain if the Catholine is correct.
