He was born in Perry Co, Kentucky on February 4, 1916 to Dan Combs and Arty Fugate Combs. Jesse is survived by his wife-Katherine Ritchie Combs; 3 Sons- William (Kizzie) Combs, Kenneth (Carol) Combs and Garland (Mary) Combs; 4 Daughters- Yvonne Smith, Artie (Raford) Collins, Glynetta (Larry) Ritchie and Nancy (Don) Wilson; 16 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and a host of Great Great Grandchildren; Special Friends-Jeff, Penny and Carol. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel with Orlo Fisher officiating. Entombment will follow in the Bethel Memorial Mausoleum at Mountain Memory Gardens in Hindman, KY. Friends may call for visitation after 10 AM Tuesday, September 21, 2010 prior to the funeral.
