Police say Stanley Nease, 47, shot five people, before turning the gun on himself in the Mount Carmel community. Police identified two of the victims as the shooters wife, Sandra Neace, 54, and her daughter Sandra Strong, 28. Dennis Turner, 31, Teresa Fugate, 30, and Tammy Kilborn, 40, were also shot and killed. Witnesses say Nease became enraged over how his eggs were cooked. A 15-year-old and and 11-year old were right in the middle of the shootings. They came to LEX 18 saying they wanted to tell their stories. The kids say they watched as Neace shot and killed members of his own family. Cheyenne Strong, 11, says she took some orange juice meant for her and when her grandmother took it back, Neace got the gun. He went on to shoot and kill her mother, grandmother and three others. "He said if we didn't open the door, he was gonna shoot us, so I opened the door, and I told him not to shoot me, and he said I'm not gonna shoot you," Strong said. Neighbors say Neace had been making threats about doing something on Sept. 11 after his wife, Sandra, said she wanted a divorce. Both kids are now in Lexington with relatives. _Photos_ (http://www.lex18.com/news/breathitt-county-community-coping-with-shooting-rampage/#) * _Video_ (http://www.lex18.com/news/breathitt-county-community-coping-with-shooting-rampage/#) * * * * * _Family Members Talk About Breathitt Shooting Spree_ (http://www.lex18.com/news/breathitt-county-community-coping-with-shooting-rampage/#) * Family Members Talk About Breathitt Shooting Spree Posted: Sep 13, 2010 8:06 AM Updated: Sep 13, 2010 8:38 AM Residents in a Beathitt County community continue to struggle to make sense of a Saturday shooting spree that left six people dead, including the gunman.
