JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON BILLY GAYHART FROM THE MIDDLETOWN (OH) JOURNAL 2/9/10 Billy Gayhart, age 78, of Middletown, OH died February 8, 2010 at the Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Knott County, KY on June 12, 1931, the son of Ballard Gayhart and Fannie Trent Gayhart. Mr. Gayhart was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a printer at the Interstate Folding Box. Mr. Gayhart enjoyed hunting, especially squirrel and rabbit. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jane L. (Mattson) Gayhart; daughters Beth (Gary) Rose of Middletown, Jackie (Dave) Woodward of Danville, KY and Ginger (Robert) Thornton of Middletown; sons James Gayhart, Greg Gayhart, and Jeff (Penny) Gayhart all of Middletown; 10 grandchildren, Jamie Rose, Jared Rose, Abby Rose, Hailey Poffenbarger, Matthew Poffenbarger, Joey Gayhart, Brian Gayhart, Bryan Thornton, Josh Gayhart, Greg Gayhart, Jr.; four great grandchildren, Austin Hoffer, Alexis Hoffer, Maya Rose, Wyatt Gayhart; brothers Herman and Audney Gayhart; sisters Loraine Stout and Mal! ta Pelfrey. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Eric Thornton; his parents; three brothers; and two sisters. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM February 11, 20101 at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Woodward officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
