FLORENCE, Ky. - James Henry Combs, 78, of Florence, Ky., died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010 at University Hospital in Cincinnati. He was a machinist and an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Combs; son, Michael Combs of Fairfield Township, Ohio; daughter, Linda Romaniuk of Grove City, Ohio; brother, Arnold Combs of Versailles, Ind., sister, Maxine Shorter of Reading, Ohio; and two grandchildren. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence, Ky.
