    2. OH! Forgot to do that. Thanks Henry and G,Great Grandson Jesse D Turley. I have Arlene's Collins Genealogy if you need it. She was related to me through Collins, but very distant. However, her Collins family is from our neighborhood also. She descends for James Shephard Collins 1784. JB In a message dated 3/2/2010 5:34:04 P.M. Don't forget to thank Henry Young and Jesse Davis Turley , for it was these nice guys that decided to share it with us. Lynda In a message dated 3/2/2010 3:39:11 P.M. It is worth reading, especially if you know about that part of Eastern Kentucky, or have been part of it. Many times we have discussed Irishman Creek, Flaxpatch, Smithsboro, Kelly Town, Cornett Hill, and Peamolder Hill. Arlena called it Boulder Hill, I know what she meant. All of these people here are my People, and I am so proud to descend from them. So Proud. These Smiths and Francis' are my immediately family. Thanks Arlene for your work here and your dedication to the education of our people. My father was one of the teens who was sent to work on the buildings of Carr Creek Community Center. 2. Marion and Arlena lived a short distance from us at Carr Creek. We bought milk from her and after Marion died, my sister Sandra stayed nights with her. They were lovely people. Peggy JB after we left Carr Creek for Smithsboro, we then bought milk from Luna Mullins. ---- Sam Farler <sfarler@woh.rr.com> wrote: > Arlene's Collins Genealogy -- She was the daughter of my Great Aunt Martha > Ann Nickles and Francis Marion Collins, he was known as May & FM Collins in > some census and tombstone. > > I do want to thank them for posting her work.
