He is survived by his wife Mae Rene Engle Ashley; sons; David Wayne (Pamela Kaye) Ashley, Dwayne (Pamela Gail) Ashley, Darrell Gene (Carla Jean) Ashley and Douglas Raymond (Jennifer Lynn) Ashley; 3 brothers; John Raymond Ashley, Silas Ashley Jr. and Kenneth Ashley; sister; Shelby Mullins; 9 grandchildren; Brittany Nicole, Brandice Katherine, Madison Paige, Dustin Craig, Darrell Randall, Kierra Cheyanne, Paula Michelle, Abigail Dawn and Colin Avery Wayne; a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother; Linden Ashley. Visitation for Avery Wayne was held on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at 6 p.m. at the Hindman Funeral Home Chapel Funeral Services were held Monday March 22, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel, burial followed at the Young Cemetery at Lotts Creek, under the direction of the Hindman Funeral Services.
