Armond Ritchie, 86, of Kendallville died Saturday, April 17, 2010, at 11:05 a.m. in Lutheran Life Villages, Kendallville, where he has resided since June, 2008. Mr. Ritchie was a coal miner, and retired as a truck driver. He attended the Full Gospel Revival Center in Rome City. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II. He was born November 25, 1923, in Kentucky to Orlando and Viney (Sutton) Ritchie. In June, 1946, he married June Campbell in Hindman, Kentucky. She preceded him in death on May 6, 1986. On November 19, 1990, in Kendallville he married Edna (Skaggs) Isbell. She survives in Kendallville. Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Junie & Eddie Jones of Kendallville; four sons and daughters-in-law, Jack & Cathy Ritchie of Belle Center Ohio, Kenneth & Keila Ritchie of Rome City, Brent & Betty Ritchie of Kendallville, and Terry & Patty Ritchie of San Jose, California; a stepson, Jimmy Isbell of Walkerton; 18 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two sisters, Rosetta Terrille of Ohio
