She was born January 30, 1930 in Littcarr, KY, to the late Dewey and Betty (Everidge) Parks. Nezzie married Kelly M. Cody, and he preceded her in death. She was an inspector for WHITCO, and a member of Lone Valley Baptist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St. with funeral services Wednesday at 12:00 noon. Nezzie is survived by her loving children, Franch Cody and Karen Siders; brother, Oscar Parks; sister, Beulah Everidge; grandchildren, Kelly, Malinda, and Christopher; and six great-grandchildren. A brother, and three sisters, also preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to Make A Wish Foundation of Indiana, 7330 Woodland Dr., #201, Indianapolis, IN, 46278-1736.
