Mrs. Leslie Smith and Mr. Martin were the teachers when I attended for grades 1 thru 3 in 1954, 55, & 56. Mrs. Smith's husband worked as an inspector of the gas wells or something to that effect. She had a couple of older sons and a daughter, Karen, that was the same age as me at that time. 1954 we were 6 years old.
