VIRGIE “THELMA” CAUDILL, age 79, of Kendallville, went onto her heavenly home on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Provena Sacred Heart Home in Avilla. Mrs. Caudill was born in Topmost, Kentucky, Knott County, on May 24, 1930 to the late Robert and Arminda (Short) Collins. She married Maggard Caudill on May 24, 1943 in Pikeville, Kentucky and he preceded her death November 1, 1976. She was a homemaker and member of Little Flossie Old Regular Baptist Church in Lisbon. Survivors include: Son, Woodie and Ethel Caudill of Paintsville, Kentucky. Son, Darel and Martha Caudill of Middlebury. Son, Ralph and Robin Caudill of Kendallville. Son, Talt and Sherry Caudill of Kendallville. Son, Kenneth and Rita Caudill of Pierceton. Son, Amos and Kathy Caudill of LaGrange. Daughter, Marie and Robert Scoles of Kendallville. Daughter, Kathy and Jack Hamilton of Huntington. Daughter, Eunice and Terry Triplett of Angola. Daughter, Nora Lee and Ronald Hamman of Angola. Daughter, Mary Helen and Tracy Lynch of Corbin, Kentucky. Daughter, Bertha "Birdie" and Robert Smith of Ligonier. Daughter, Ruthann and Kevin Weikart of Pierceton. 26 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Bonnie Lou Caudill; one son, Lowell Caudill and four brothers: Benny, Isadore, C, and Frank Collins. Visitation will be Sunday, May 2, 2010, from after 4:00pm at Little Flossie Old Regular Baptist Church in Lisbon. Visitation will also be Monday, May 3, 2010 all day with evening services at 6:00pm at the church. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 11:00am at Little Flossie Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will be at Orange Cemetery in Rome City.
