Ruby was born in Knott County, Kentucky on April 7, 1927. She is one of ten children of Isaac and Nancy Ann Campbell Reynolds; both whom precede her in death. She attended the Old Regular Baptist Church. Ruby retired from Ford in 1983 after 16 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed meeting with the Golden Girls, making cookies, growing flowers and being with her family. She was also known as a very good cook. She is survived by a daughter, Patsy Friend of Connersville; three sisters, Jane Combs of Jacksonville, FL, Floys Short of Sunman, IN and Betty Miller of Vandalia, OH; two grandsons, Cary & Lori Hardy and Gary & Jenny Hardy; and three great grandchildren, Emily, Sydney and Annalyn Hardy. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husbands, Joe Reynolds who she married on December 25, 1945 and he passed on December 9, 1974 and George Sutton who she married in October 1984 and he passed in 1994. She is also preceded by a daughter, Beverly Jo Hardy; three brothers and three sisters, T.J. Reynolds, Paul Reynolds, Charlie Reynolds, Maxine Sparkman, Velma Taylor, and Clovia Adams. Funeral services will be held at Urban Winkler Funeral Home on Saturday July 31, 2010 at 7:00 pm with Mr. Robert McPherson officiating. Friends and family may call from 4:00 pm until the time of the service.
