She was born in Amburgey, Ky. on November 25, 1926 to T.G. & Clara Parks Everage. She was the wife of John D. Vanover. She is survived by her husband; sons: Gene Russell (Beverly) Vanover, Johnny Ray Vanover & Terry Doyle (Michelle) Vanover; daughters: Brenda Sue Vanover, Mary Louise (Danny) Miller & Katerine (Joey) Vaughn; sister: Ruby Dixon; grandchildren: Nate, Josh, Samantha, Kolby, Devon, John Elwood & Tyler Lee; step grandchild: Christopher; great grandchildren: Joseph & Kayla. Funeral services were held Friday, June 25, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel with Don Pratt, Bobby Amburgey, Mearl Caudill & David Smith officiating. Burial followed at the Vanover Cemetery at Amburgey, Ky. under the direction of the Hindman Funeral Services. She is survived by her husband; son; Willie Adam (Rose) Slone of Means, Ky.; daughter; Rebecca Ann (Bobby) Hall of Mt. Sterling, Ky.; brother; Michael Forrest Ramey; sister; Belinda Salbach; granddaughter; Ashley (Justin) Hall. Funeral services were held on June 4, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at the Nelson Frazier Funeral Home in Hindman, KY. with Roger Hicks & Kelly Slone officiating.
