Hershel Watts, 67, of Austin, IN. passed away Tuesday, January 25th, 2011 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN. Mr. Watts was born in Leatherwood, KY on April 7, 1943, the son of the late Andrew and Opal Watts. He was a member of Austin Christian Church in Austin, IN . He retired from Quacker Oats in Indianapolis, IN. Survivors include: his wife, Donna (Rose) Watts of Austin, IN. Daughter: Lisa Watts of Austin, IN. Son: Zachary (Jessica) Watts of Austin, IN. Sisters: Shirl Combs of Lost Creek, KY., Rosa Watts of Austin, IN., Reva Turner of Austin, IN., Linda Anderson of Austin, IN. Brothers: Pat Watts of Lexington, IN., Gene Watts of Jackson, KY., Andy Watts of Crothersville, IN., Howard Watts of Austin, IN., David Watts of Austin, IN., Albert Watts of Austin, IN., Ben Watts of Austin, IN. He is also survived by 1 Grandson, Cameron Watts. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, January 28th, at Old Austin Christian Church, Austin, IN., with Rev. Don Watts and Rev. Tom Franklin officiating. Visitation will be Thursday 4 to 8pm at Old Austin Christian Church. Cremation will follow service.
