Mary D. Simpson, age 91, of the Everton community, passed away on Thursday June 10, 2010 at Fayette Regional Health System. She was born in Knott County, Kentucky on June 9, 1919 the daughter of Sidney and Dessie Pigman Everidge; both whom precede her in death. On February 23, 1946 in Kentucky, she became the bride of Mount Simpson. He passed away on August 10, 1995. In her leisure time she enjoyed working with flowers, quilting, and cooking. She is survived by two sisters, Roba F. Hayes and Anna J. Hayes both of Connersville; three brothers and sisters in law, Ford “Eddie” and Barbara Everidge of San Angelo, TX, Douglas and Linda Everidge of Dayton, OH, and Sidney and Louella Everidge of Portland, OR; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a sister, Eula Thomas; and two brothers, Stanley Everidge and Benny Everidge. Funeral services will be conducted at Urban Winkler Funeral Home on Sunday June 13, 2010 at 2:00 pm with Rev. John Reynolds of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Everton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until
