    2. I can help with one question........there are hardly any death certificates for the year 1910. The state of Kentucky didn't enforce them until 1911.     2. Alden Owens, 70, of Ashley and formerly of Wolcottville died Tuesday, October 12, 2010, in Lutheran Hospital. Mr. Owens had lived in this area most of his life. He retired in 2000 after 15 years at Midwest Molding in Wolcottville. He was born February 5, 1940, in Hindman, Kentucky, to Aaron and Amy (Ritchie) Owens. On February 4, 1962, in Stroh he married Reva Boggs. Surviving are his wife, Reva Owens of Ashley; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Alda and Dave Nissen of Wolcottville, Rita Hunter of Kendallville, Teresa and Troy Sams of Howe, and Terri and Kevin Leedy of Hudson; two sons and daughters-in-law, Alden Ray and Norma Cochran of Auburn, and Anthony Owens and Myra Conley of LaGrange; a daughter-in-law, Melinda Owens of Wolcottville; 15 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister, Geraldine Hudson of Wolcottville; and two brothers, Howard Owens and Denny Owens, both of Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Everett Owens; and a son, Rodney Owens on January 12, 2009. Funeral services will be Friday, October 15, 2010, at 2 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville, with Pastor Billy Smith officiating.     2. I looked at your site and I can't say for sure. The people who are listed, I have heard of. So I think it is probably the correct one. If it is, I know that my uncle Madison Holliday, his wife Grace Holliday, and my cousin Dorothy Holliday are buried there. Dorothy Holliday died when I was still in school and I am in my sixties now. I haven't been at the cemetery since then. I want to go back down there and visit later when there isn't any danger of snakes in the cemetery. I am a coward.     2. Last week I visited Clear Creek. When I crossed the bridge to Clear Creek there was a sign that said Fisty Cemetery. So it is up above the old post office. She was born November 13, 1930, the daughter of the late Ezra and Cumine Combs Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Herman Combs and Adams Combs; one daughter: Patricia Ann Combs; one sister: Gladys Jones.
