John "Wes" Combs, 68, of Imlay City, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Lapeer Regional Medical Center. John Wesley Combs was born on December 27, 1941 in Tina, Kentucky. He was the son of Edward and Hazel Combs. John graduated from Royal Oak Kimball High School class of 1965. He married Sandra Hoelle on June 19, 1965 in Auburn Hills, MI. He lived in Imlay City for 32 years. He retired from Oakland County Water & Incinerator Dept. as a heavy equipment operator. John was an original member of Imlay City Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.
