Debbie, Yes, this does look like she might be listed twice in 1910. This one has her as mother in law which is more accurate that the other that listed her as mother. This one also lists her as married rather than widowed but no sign of Wyatt anywhere. Not sure what to think other than she is listed twice. Gloria, Does that census record I found look like Wyatt's daughter with his widowed wife? Do I have it correct that their daughter Caroline married John C Stewart? Gloria, Silas was married to Millie Hall, d/o Jefferson & Clarinda Hall. There is a Jeff Hall and a Clarinda Hall buried in the Francis Day Cemetery which we are now told used to be the Tolliver Cemetery. If Silas and Millie buried her parents there in 1919 and 1923, then it would seem reasonable that they would bury Silas' father there in that same time period, don't you think? I am just guessing here of course. With that guess I just put out there, I now need to see if you or others can explain why I can't find a record of this Wyatt after the 1900 census. I found a record of what I thought was his daughter Caroline, her husband John C Stewart, and her mother Clarissa listed as widowed in the 1910 census: 1910 census, Holbert No 10, Floyd, KY, 26 Apr 1910. HH 114/115 John C Stewart age 26, wife Carolin age 25, son Benjamine age 9, daughter Hattie age 8, sons William age 6, Robert L age 5, daughter Luleth age 5, son Leck age 1, servant Viola Martin age 14, mother in law Creisa Martin age 65, widowed. John and Carolin married 10 years. Carolin mother of 6 children, 6 living. Is this Creisa, Wyatt's wife, Clarissa Jones, with his daughter Caroline? If so, my assumption has been that Wyatt died before 1910 and could not be the one who is buried in the Francis-Day Cemetery and has the DC with the parents we don't recognize. I need help with this. Jack Yes Caroline married John C. Stewart. I have checked the Virginia census records and come up with nothing for John & Lucy. I can't really explain what the problem is. Yes it does Don. I recall the Toliver Cemetery having a rod iron fence and gate with the Toliver name also made from rod iron. I think the Toliver who lived there was Link Toliver. Jack I truly believe the Wyatt listed in the DC is the father of Silas Martin. I think the dates were wrong on the dc or census. Silas was the person who buried him. I don't see how there would be another Wyatt that he would have been connected to. Millie was my great grandmother. She lived right across the road from me. Her daughter Clarinda along with her husband and kids lived with her after Silas died. Believe me there are lots of mistakes on dc's. My Granny's dc has the wrong cause of death as well as my cousin Bryan Martin. glo --- On Wed, 6/2/10, Jack Martin <jdxxm@q.com> wrote: > From: Jack Martin <jdxxm@q.com> > Subject: Re: [KYKNOTT] Tolliver Cemetery > To: kyknott@rootsweb.com > Date: Wednesday, June 2, 2010, 6:29 PM > Gloria, > > Silas was married to Millie Hall, d/o Jefferson & > Clarinda Hall.
