Margaret wanted me to let everyone know that Sam came surgery ok....they did remove part of the lung and it was cancer...she said they got good news yesterday from the Dr. saying they had gotten it all.....if all goes well Sam may be home Monday and she will be back on to give an update....Thanks everyone for the Prayers Shelia
Hi Margaret. We will keep you and Sam in our prayers. I hope his sugrery goes as well as my did. I had most ofd my right lung removed in 2004 because of cancer. So far i have been cancer free for six years now. Loretta and I will keep you in our prayers. You may not remember us but we meet and had lunch with You Rita and JB and others a few years back. Her mother had given her up for adoption and we had reunited in 2003 after 56 yrs of our not knowing where she was. She and I did celebrate our 60th birthday together so we were left with 7 good yrs which I'm grateful for. JEANETTE SLONE, age 83, of rural Kendallville, died on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at North Ridge Village in Albion. Mrs. Slone was born in Wayland, Kentucky on January 24, 1927 to the late Estill and Lona (Salyers) Smith. She married Winston Slone on February 9, 1945 in Kentucky and moved to Noble County 1955.
