She was born July 24, 1944, in Wayland, the daughter of the late Burton And Stella Sparkman Watson. She was a homemaker and the wife of James Sonny Craft. She is survived by 1 son: Don (Melinda) Craft of Martin; Brothers and Sisters: Orvis Watson, Maysville, Clifford Watson, Warren, Ohio, Lorraine Lykins & Grace Hicks, Cleveland, Ohio. Granddaughter: Jadon Alexandria Craft. Step-Granddaughter: Samantha Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brothers: Fred Watson, Wendell Watson; and Sister: Ruby Gibson.     2. Carrol "Whitey" Adams, 66, of Sunman, Indiana died Monday, July 26, 2010 at his residence. He was born December 5, 1943 in Whitesburg, Kentucky to Edgar and Merkie Mae (Collins) Adams. He married Emma L. Murphy on August 4, 1967 in Clintwood, Virginia. He was an Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for Batesville Casket Company retiring in 2008 after 26 years of employment. He was also a member of the Batesville Christian Church and the Batesville American Legion. Survivors include his Wife, Emma L. Adams; Son, Timothy R. Adams of Knoxville, Tennessee; and three Sisters, Shirley Tuley of Dale, Indiana, and Brenda Collins and Sandra Bryant both of Kingston, Tennessee. In addition to his Parents he was preceded in death by his Aunt, Ruby Staniszewski, and Uncles, Arlie Collins and Junior Adams. The Visitation will be Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana 47041. The Funeral Service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Yeaton, Pastor of Batesville Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in South Park Cemetery in Greensburg, Indiana with Graveside Military Honors. It was Whitey's request that memorial donations be directed to his Son, Timothy Adams, in lieu of flowers. Pallbearers will be Timothy Adams, Patrick Graue, Brian Tuley, Dee Cory, Jim Powell, and Hugh Adams.

    2. Sarah Sue Abbott, age 63, of Cromwell, died Monday, July 26, 2010 at her residence after an extended battle with cancer. Mrs. Abbott was born on February 12, 1947 in Topmost, Kentucky to Colones and Edna (Mullins) Caudill. She married William "Bill" Abbott on November 7, 1969, he survives. She moved to the area nearly 40 years ago coming from Topmost, Kentucky. She was a dedicated homemaker and was also a member of 5 Corners Baptist Church in Wolcottville. Mrs. Abbott is survived by her husband; two children, Rebecca (Brent) Firestone of Albion, William "Dale" (Christella) Abbott of Wolcottville; three grandchildren, Audriana Elaine Firestone, William Jay Abbott, and Dustin Dale Abbott; five siblings, Carolyn (Doffey) Huff of Ligonier, Lilly Mae (Boyd) Short of Topmost, KY, Sylvia Little of Topmost, KY, Emery Caudill of Lexington, KY, and Eddie (Jeanette) Caudill of Topmost, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Diamond & Fred Caudill; and one sister, Ella Mae Caudill. A funeral service will be held in Mrs. Abbott's honor on Friday, July 30, 2010 at Yeager Funeral Home in Ligonier with Pastor Clarence Combs officiating. Burial will be in Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell, IN. There will be a visitation on Thursday, July 29, 2010 from 1-3 PM and 5-7 PM at Yeager Funeral Home. Following the visitation there will be a special worship service at 7 PM held at Yeager Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are to the The Family of Sarah Sue Abbott.
