It is a AOL problem. I have no idea of the meaning of their techical terms like SORBS, so don't even ask! <G> AOL just needs to get its act together. Just start using Yahoo mail instead of AOL until they get it fixed. Of course, you'd have to subscribe to your lists with another address. Norma Folks, Rootsweb uses SORBS to screen incoming mail. Quite often SORBS lists ISP servers like AOL's as s p a m generating. When you submit email using those blacklisted servers to Rootsweb, it is rejected and bounced back to you. This usually lasts about one day, and AOL or whomever gets their server de-listed with SORBS. In the meantime, you can submit email from another address (if it's listed with QR), or forward it to another unaffected QR member for forwarding to the list. You may also contact your ISP so that they know about the problem..Note that today AOL's server at 205.188.169.203 is being blocked...:-( At 12:32 PM 8/31/2010 -0400, you wrote: > Knott County Kentucky Kinfolk http://knottkentuckykinfolk.com/ >What I kept I lost, What I spent I had, What I gave I have. >Knott County KyGenWeb >http://98.131.135.96/knott/ >------------------------------- >To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to >KYKNOTT-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the >quotes in the subject and the body of the message >No virus found in this incoming message. >Checked by AVG - www.avg.com >Version: 8.5.441 / Virus Database: 271.1.1/3104 - Release Date: 08/31/10 >06:34:00 Knott County Kentucky Kinfolk http://knottkentuckykinfolk.com/ What I kept I lost, What I spent I had, What I gave I have.
