All the later marriages referred to earlier in this index book refer only to "Marriage Book #1 Kenton County, Covington, KY" and on the front page of the marriage section it specifically says, Kenton County, Kentucky, Covington Courthouse". There are other records indexed for Wills, Deeds and Inventories, and Guardian Bonds which are specific to the Independence Court House, as well as some earlier marriages indexed by Marriage Bonds.
