Hi, Darla; Yes, I've done all the things you recommended. I also have a copy of the original 1880 census entry. My purpose in learning more about the Martin Carey buried 1891 in St. Mary's is just to prove he was the same one, the son of Ellen (and Patrick), maybe to learn more about Patrick, and to be sure he is indeed the same person. The name Martin Carey has popped up several times in various family connections. There are actually a couple that don't seem to fit in anywhere and I want to be sure to give this one the right place in the family line. Thanks, Ann
