My gg-gpa and his father, new to my knowledge, had many connections to Kenton co., even tho born in Cincinatti, OH and sometimes lived in that area. John Henry (Johann Heinrich, and sometimes only went by Henry) Koors, b. abt. 1809, Oldenburg, Ger? married to Mary Kalkmann, unsure of where she was from, need anything on either of these, my knowledge on them is very limited. They had at least 3 children, Mary, Anna, and the oldest, Bernard Henry Koors, b. 1840's Cincinatti,OH. He went by Barney and also Henry. I had gotten info that he had married to Anna M. Ferneding at the German Lutheran Church in Cincinatti,OH. I did not know of this marriage, as Barney and his parents had moved to Effingham, IL area for many years, and Barney married 3 other times.
