Hi Tom, I have a Murphy relative in Ludlow right now but I don't know about any ancestors having lived there. My Murphys began in 1826 Ireland with Cornelius who came to Pendleton County, Ky about 1847, his son John b. 1869 Pendleton Co. and his daughter Helena Murphy Burroughs Merrill Points Burden b. 1907 was my birth grandmother, her birth daughter being my mother, Virginia Burrows Haas Dinser. The Murphys gradually moved into Campbell and Kenton Counties and inter-married with Huffs, Sellers and Moores.
