This is truly a shot in the dark here...I have from St. James church records the entry of a marriage between Clara Albers and Julius....can't quite read the writing! It appears to be something like Courard, Couvard, Couvavd, et cetera. The marriage took place on June 18, 1901. Am hoping that someone on this list has access to any kind of marriage records index or SOMETHING that could help decipher this last name. Have tried all the variations and wildcard spellings I can think of to look for census records and nothing is coming up. Any help and / or suggestions would be appreciated! Amy Albers
