Surnames: DEVINE, MURPHY & HOLMES Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/BBB.2ACI/1916 Message Board Post: I am searching for any info on my ggparents, MICHAEL DEVINE & LAVINIA CAMERON DEVINE from Covington, Kenton county, KY.They worked for Daniel Henry Holmes at his estate, Holmes Castle or Holmesdale in the late 1800's- 1920's. My great-grandparents were the caretaker and governess of Holmesdale. They had eight children,one died at four months, all born on the estate and educated along with the Holme's children. The children are as follows: Luke, Lavena A., Michael Peter (Bud), David Andrew ("Madison Avenue Dave"),Mary Elizabeth, Rachel G., and Katherine.
