Hi, Renee; I checked that 1870 census entry on HeritageQuest and they have it indexed as Jerusha Hale, which it certainly appears to me to be. Jerusha and Flora were born in NH. The name of the family they are living with was also certainly CARPENTER - Albert, Mary and Edward. Best wishes, Ann Bergelt Florida
