Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Covington. Mr Skates a shoeworker, was 55 years old. He died Wednesday at his home. Surviving him is his widow, Mrs Charlotte Goeskamp Skates; his mother Mrs. Margaret Skates, Covington and two brothers, Frank and Clifford Skates, both of Covington.
