Paul, I looked in the 1861 Covington City Directory and could not see any of the Bruggenschmidt, etc. I did see the following in Newport: Chas. Theis - cof - home nec York & Jefferson Fred Theis - works Newport Iron Works Jacob Theiss - laborer - ss McArthur between Columbia & Cabot Debi Snow
