I've "rescued" an old photograph of Annetta LEWIS which was taken at the Skewes Studio in either Cincinnati, Ohio or Covington, KY. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's or 1890's with Annetta appearing to be in her early teens at the time. In addition to her name, someone has written "confirmed" on the back of the photograph. The last name is difficult to read but am fairly certain that it is LEWIS. I am hoping to be able to return the photograph to family and would appreciate your contacting me if you are a member of this family, or know someone who might be. Thanks, Shelley

Hello! The only name that jumped out at me during this roll call was ALLGEYER. My only ALLGEYER link is as follows: Charles F. ALLGEYER was the second husband of Dorothy Rose HOMOELLE HEMSATH. Dorothy Rose Homoelle Hemsath Allgeyer (b. 1918 Cincinnati - d. 1999 Cincinnati) was the daughter of Henry "Harry" Homoelle and Rose STOCKELMAN. Her first husband was Edward P. Hemsath. I have some nice 1939 photos of Dorothy. Smiles, Deborah
Tom, Okay, just thought I'd check and thanks for writing back. I graduated from Elder in 1973. Stay warm! Tim
Greetings Gladys There were also some GIRKIN'S in Ft. Thomas, Campbell County. In the 70's I worked for a Cyrus Girkin who owned the Chevron gas station in Ft. Wright on Dixie Highway. Greetings Tim My Murphy's were strict Protestants, don't think any would have married in Catholic Church. They came from Mercer and Jessamine Counties. In early to mid 1900's there were two Murphy families in Ludlow at the same time, mine and another. It appears that yours is the other. Did you go to Ludlow High School? I graduated LHS 1965. I am looking for the Klinger family, Kate and I think Carl or Charles who lived in Ludlow-20s, maybe 30s. Karl(or Carl)may have worked for the railroad and Kate was on the school board there. Roslyn
Tim, Glad I saw your message, I had meant to keep your address. Did you receive the article from the newspaper that I sent you pertaining to my grandmother Helena Murphy who went to Atlanta with a J. Allgeyer in 1926-27? She had left her baby in Atlanta and was going crazy because of it, something to that effect. The article was from a Ohio paper. Helena's husband was Ray Burroughs. Just curious as to whether you were able to find out any more info on the issue.
