Supposedly May 28, 1892 the Women's Union group of Walton moved and seconded that a circular window in the audience room of the church back of the pulpit according to a design by Mr. McDonald be installed. This was suppose to be a memory to Mrs. Chambers. I believe this church may be now a Presbyterian Church and I am interested. I know my great grandmother Rachel Clark Jones, wife of William Peter Jones, attended the first service of this church. Any information would be appreciated.

It gives her residence as 3 Altamont Rd., Ludlow, Ky. The date of her birth is given as May 29, 1882 and the place of her birth is Cincinnati, OH. Her parents were George Wright and Delia Garrett. Her husband's name is George Haney. She died on February 17, 1919 at the age of 36. She was buriied from John J. Radel funeral home at 822 York St. in Newport, KY 41071. She was buried in what is called new St. Joseph Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH. The proper name and address of this cemetery is St. Joseph Cemetery Association, Pedretti and FoleyAvenues, Cincinnati, OH 45238 2) I was unable to find a birth certifice for Elizabeth Claire Haney. The State of Kentucky did not require the keeping of births and deaths until 1911.Some of the larger ccities, such as Covington, kept records earlier; but they were dependent on whether the doctor or midwife filed a record. Apparenlty they did not in the case of Elizabeth Claire Haney. However, I did find her baptismal record at St. Ann Church, West Covington, KY. It says, Elizabeth Claire Haney, born October 26, 1909. The daughter of George Haney and Grace Wright (non-Catholic) of West Covington, KY. Godparents: Joseph Connellyand Elizabeth Connelly. The priesdt was Fr. W.B. Ryan. St. Ann church still exists, but is a mission of St. John Church in Covington. The address for St. Ann Church is 1274 Parkway Avenue, Covington, KY 41011-1060

You want to know of another coincidence? Stella Borges (a sister to Johann Dietrich Borges, who married Mary Theresa Heving (daughter of the Bernard Hewing that was good friends with B.H. Hellebusch)) worked for an F. Pieper at his jewelry store in 1919 (and maybe other years as well). I have a copy of a November 26th, 1919 Kentucky Post article that has a picture of her holding a $75 watch donated by F. Pieper to the Kentucky Post for a contest they were having for prettiest girl in Northern Kentucky. In fact, I doubt this a coincidence at all! Mary Theresa Hevings sister in law working for the husband or son of a Hellebusch, a family she was no doubt familiar with through her father's association with Bernard H. Hellebusch! Indeed, I now can bet Bernard and your Mary are closely related. :) I haven't done much research on the Hellebusch's - since I'm not related to them. I will keep my eyes open though as I'm doing research at the Covington library for any clues that may help link your Mary to Bernard, and their place of origin. If you hadn't told me this, I wouldn't have known the connection! What's even more interesting is I just TODAY printed that article out at the Covington library and recieved your email with his name the same evening! No doubt F. Pieper was very old by then, would he not be? Or maybe it's his sons jewelry store? Wouldn't that be wierd it if did turn out a coincidence and that F. Pieper wasn't your F. Pieper or his son? Dear ALL, I am having MAJOR problems with my ISP which is WT.net, and there lack of cooperation in resolving the problem. They are saying it is my fault or Yahoogroups & Rootswebs fault for me being bounced or unsubscribed from my groups I am on. If you don't hear from me, please suspect I have been bounced and email privately. I have been getting bounced daily sometimes 2 times a day, which is frustrating. Just email me privately. Thanks, LeeAnn and Herman! I'll look at the Cinti. library's online catalog and see what I can find. Thanks, LeeAnn, for offering to check the Necrology for any Schleutkers that are in it - I believe that Henry Schleutker should be there. Darla
