Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/BBB.2ACI/1940.10.1 Message Board Post: I found the following in the 1904-05 Covington-Newport City Directory: Peter Klocke - show cutter living at 166 Van Voast Ave. Bellevue, KY Amelia Klock (looks like they left off the "e" but in the 1900 census is shows Amelia Klocke so I think this is the same person) living at 620 German Street, Newport, KY Catherine M. Klock - widow of Henry living at 620 German St., Newport, KY Do you have access to Ancestry.com or Genealogy.com? The census records from 1900 to 1930 show the whole Peter Klocke family and the Louis Klocke family living in Bellevue, KY. I did not find any Klocke in the 1886 Directory for this area. I also did not find any Sidell/l in the Directories for this area. See below example of the 1910 micro census: Peter's wife is known as Anna, Stasia and Anastacia on different census years. Peter L Klocke Ohio Campbell, Bellevue Wife Anna S 38, Ohio Daughter Lillie 16, Kentucky Son Edward NR, Kentucky W 39

I know they lived in Cincinnati but that a couple of them moved across the river to Kenton KY (Bellview, KY?) for at least a few years. Any help you could give would be so greatly appreciated! 3. Would Howards ancestry be from Pike County, Indiana? or from an Abraham Wilhoit of Western Kentucky? Some Wilhoits married into my Thomas' in Pike County. If Ludlow is in Kenton County, then you could probably go to the main branch of the Covingon Library for the obit. I don't know about Ludlow cemeteries unfortunately. However I did find his death certificate on microfilm at the Kenton County Library. The certificate says: Kenton County, Covington, Entering Covington 5th Ward. Male, White, Married, Date of death 21 May, 1916, age 25. Occcupation - Carpenter; Cause of death - Railroad Accident, Internal injuries, fracture of left arm, crushed left shoulder.Signed J P Riffe, Coroner. Place of Birth-Bourbon County, KY; Name of Father: Barney Boyle, born in Bourbon County, KY; Maiden Name of Mother: Annie Noland, place of birth-Bourbon County, KY, Informant, H. Roberts, Paris, KY, Place of burial, Paris, KY, May 21, 1916; Undertaker M.L. Swetnam, Covington, KY. The death certificate number is 13445/16. I am surprised that I could not find any thing in the local papers about the railroad accident, Perhaps there is something in the Paris or Bourbon County papers. I am guessing that the accident occurred in or near Paris, ssince the informants address is given as Paris, KY.

    3. Unfortunately, the 1861 City Directory cd that I have is missing the pages for Covington that Badder would be on. I did look in Newport and surrounding areas and did not find any Badders. I looked in the 1880 Directory and there were no Badders.
