    1. Need help from Kenton County Resident
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Foster, Taylor, Anderson, Conley Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/BBB.2ACI/1963 Message Board Post: Hi, I'm trying to contact a Kenton County resident named Clyde Denney Foster. I found a paper he wrote titled, "Ancestors and Descendants of Granville C. Foster, Early Settlers of Cass County, Missouri." In his paper, Mr. Foster states he lives in Elsmere, Kentucky and that he has a daughter named Denise Foster Korzenborn. I had the impression that Mr. Foster and his daughter near one another. Would it be possible for someone familiar with Kenton County to check and see if you can find either Mr. Foster or his daughter and call them for me? I'm deaf and while it isn't impossible for me to use the telephone, it's a terribly tedious (and often fruitless) process. If someone could simply contact them and ask them to email me, it would be a tremendous help. I am researching the same family Clyde Denney Foster is researching and I have a great deal of information to share with him. To anyone who is able to assist me in getting connected, I thank you in advance. Ray Foster mrfoster@dc.rr.com

Have you checked the 1880 census entry for Henry FOLMERING in Hamilton Co., Cincinatti, Ohio? He is age 35 born in Germany with a wife named Lena and 4 children. In the 1900 census you mentioned the wife is listed as having had 8 children and only 3 are living with them the oldest being 17. In the 1880 census the children are Margaret, William, Mary and Mena. Bailey who was born in KY in 1853 and who married Conrad Dollenmeyer in Cincinnati and continued to live in the Columbia Twp area of CIncinnati till her death. The census records indicate her father was born in England and her mother in KY. I am only assuming they lived in the Kenton Co. area of KY since several of my ancestors alternated between Kenton Co., KY and Hamilton Co., OH. Do you think your Baileys could be related to my Helena/Lena? Any help or direction you could give would be greatly appreciated. Donna in MT

    2. Dear Rebecca... Our hearts and prayers are with you and your family...they just announced that Rita is already a catagory 4, I am hoping that you have loaded up your family and precious Family items and have left the Coast.... I am learning that to better save and protect our family data that all our family information and pictures should be scanned or loaded onto CDs that can be accessed and printed out again...these precious CDs can then be carried away with us, stored in a safety deposit box, or maintained in a safer place when things like hurricanes come calling....LINDA... 1. Re: [KYKENTON] Birth Records 1911-1920

    3. I assume you are looking at a birth index of some sort. I have the Kentucky birth records index on CD. It shows Albert Forline was the child born 11/22/1914 to Lillie Brushman. You would need to order the birth certificate from the state to get information on who is listed as father. I am not sure if the City of Covington had birth records for that year or not but if they did you could probably find the city record on microfilm in the Covington library.
