    1. Re: Veterans Day
    2. Good idea! I grew up in Paintsville, and entered the Navy after graduation. I was Naval Aviation Electronics Technician 1954-56. Stationed at Naval Air Station, Kingsville, TX. Boot camp was Bainbridge, MD, then Jacksonville, FL for Airman School, and Millington, TN for Aviation Electronics. Afterward, spent 30 years in Electronics Industry (Lockheed, Sylvania, Motorola, etc.) I am certainly proud of my service and highly recommend it to today's youth. Ky to check in on this site, and tell us where you served and when. Also where you live, E-mail ,etc. I was in the Naval Air Corps in WWII, attended the Aviation Machinist Mate School In Norman Okla. Last place served, Alameda Naval Air Station,Alameda, Calif. How About it Veterans? We could get in touch with old friends and relatives, or just let people know who you are, where you are,and to be proud of it. >>
