    3. Hello Gang, Now, with the Christmas season here and 3 kids to play Santa for, I've been working 7 days a week for awhile so I'm a bit behind on e-mail and genealogy and just about everything. I have however been reading the posts whenever I can to see whats up. I'm now about 4 days behind. LOL This is sure an active list and I'm glad I subscribed. I recognize quite a few names from some other lists as well, and some of you folks have kindly sent me info. I descend from John Verazzano and Sarah Jane (Branham) Ward. Their daughter Mahala Ward Sturgell was my grandma. She was born and raised in Offutt, Johnson Co. Thats why I subscribed to this list. Hopefully I will have more time for research soon and can contribute instead of lurking, but for now I enjoy reading the posts. I thought I should introduce myself now seeing as there is a possibility some of us will be seeing each other in Johnson Co. I havn't finished reading all my e-mail so we'll see about whats gonna come of that! I was hoping to head up that way this spring or summer anyhow, and take a walk up the hill where John and Sarah Jane are buried up from the old home place. Maybe the timing will be right. Merry Christmas all! Living in Oklahoma, don't know if I could make it, but would try. Would be good if those who couldn't attend would send a print out of their Johnson County ties with possibly a short family history story.
