Bud, Peter Mankins took his family to AR about 1828/30. Unfortunately, I don't have much on descendants of Peter Sr's children, except my own (Millie). I have some grand-childrens names but no farther. Probably your John Henry was child of one of them. John B. went to CA. Don't think any of his kids stayed or came back to AR. Henry didn't marry Samuel and family settled in Williamson Co, TX. Don't have names of William's children, one source says he had two. That leaves Walter and Peter, Jr. Walter and Polly Low's ch: 1. Priscilla, 2 8 Peter, b 1856 9 E. J., b 1869 Most of this sent by various people. Unproven. By the way, Harrison AR is county seat of Boone Co, formed 1869 from Carroll & Madison Co. Carroll Co, formed 1833, co seat, Berryville and Madison Co formed 1836, co seat, Huntsville. These counties border Missouri. Hope this will be of some help. Betty
