Thanks Donna, but I need to go backwards. The David Hall I am looking for was John M.'s father. John and Susannah had eight children, and David B. was their second child. Their last child Martin was my great grandfather. Several names repeat in my branch of the Halls, Martin and David for example. If you have this information perhaps you may know something about John's parents David Hall & Betty Music. All I know for sure is David died shortly after John's birth in Rowan Co.,NC in 1822.
