Ok Gang, I think this meeting of the Johnson County Gang is a GO!!!! Now, I dont want to offend anyone and certainly do not want to load up anyone's mailbox, so, I suggest that any ideas, suggestions, etc. be sent to me privately at : annapplegate@maysvilleky.net Then, I can give a "group report". This way, there would only be one planning e-mail , say, once or twice a week, verses 40 plus. I think one thing has already been agreed upon by the majority and that is not to meet over labor day weekend. Personally, since I am not a fan of copperheads, rattlesnakes(yes, there are rattlers in Johnson CO.!!), blacksnakes, ground snakes or any other type of snake, early spring would be a good time. I am going to get a group discount rate at the Ramada in Paintsville, formerly the Carriage House. This in no way obligates anyway to stay there! They have a nice conference room where, if all goes well, I can set up a WELCOME/Get Acquainted type thing to come to after checking into your room. I am working on a few other ideas also.
