Alright, I can't stand it any longer without adding my 2 cents worth. I agree with Bill that this discussion really is appropriate on a genealogy site. He had a lot of good things to say. I completed a family book a couple of years ago for my mother's family (from Nebraska). The poem below is on the first page of that book. I found it on a website. The author is unknown. I still feel it is very appropriate: Our Ancestors If you could see your ancestors All standing in a row, Would you be proud of them or not Or don't you really know? Some strange discoveries are made In climbing family trees, And some of them you know, do not Particularly please. If you could see your ancestors All standing in a row, There might be some of them perhaps You wouldn't care to know.
