Just for future reference and not to start a copyright battle or anything, but the USGenWeb does state that you must have an authors permission to offer to do lookups for USGenWeb. Maybe they are just being extra cautious or maybe it's because of the volume of lookups that are handled?? I do think it's nice that we are considerate of others time & energy to make these publications for us. Most of them don't mind us doing lookups, but it's always polite to ask.
