My Grandmother was adopted shortly after birth in 1901 by George & Sally Wilson Dixon. Here are some infor. taken from a tape of her looking at old photos in 1987or 89. Her Chum's: Hazel Borders who married a Daniels.. Hazel had a brother that was crippled. Mont Roberts was an old boyfriend Fannie ? was her best friend who married a Dixon and became her sister in law. Jim Kimbell dated her brothers (ED) Dixons daughter, Virgie. 1910 Johnson Co Census (Whitehouse) George W. Dixon Sarah Oren Ed Arthur Norada (Nora Mae) 9 year old adopted dtr Mae married Wyatt Adkins in 1919 and they moved to Pike Co. in 1920.
