Actual copies of census records may be ordered from S K Publications. You have to get a quote from them... I believe it's .50 per page + a flat fee, but that could be wrong. In Pike County, about 25 got together to order the 1920 census. It takes quite a while to get it, but the total cost, divided by the 25 of us will be around $30. We set up one coordinator to do the ordering, collecting, etc. Once the copies are finished, they will give the census to either Rootsweb or USGenWeb (I forget which) for posting. If anyone else is interested, I would be willing to do a similar program for Johnson County for any census year 1860-present.
