Hi fellow listers, Hate to say so, but I'm getting pretty tired of seeing others scolded like children myself. Have only posted once here because of the attitude of the coordinator. I was also upset when my mother ask for info on her Johnson Co. family who were first residents of Floyd County (as most were). She was FIRMLY directed to the Floyd Co. list by Ms. Applegate. This attitude makes me sad, because it's a wonderful site with allot of great info!!!! The list is full of giving and caring people who share information about their families. This, to me, says we are all people who care about family -- past and present!!!! If we're not allowed to show that we care for eachother on here perhaps we should all find another list, and there is a new one that might fit the bill. Diana Montgomery-Parsons started an east-Ky. roots list in July, but it is rapidly growing. Here Ms. Parsons welcomes all. You may post prayers, poetry, obits, and even clean jokes. This list covers all areas of eastern Ky. -- no matter if your family started here and ended up in another state or country -- or if they started somewhere else and ended up here. ALL INFO pertaining to genealogy is welcomed here, and more... The only thing she asks is that you participate -- "no lurking."
