Collins Run, Stewart's Creek area to be exact. I live in Grafton, Ohio area with my wife Mary Ann. Have four children, Beverly, Gregory, Brian, and Kevin. We are retired. Me from City of Elyria, Oh. Police Dept. Her from Elyria Memorial Hospital. Found some information while researching at Gilmer County Court House in Glenville this past week. Found that Susan Keith that married Robert M. Keith was a Robinson which I had suspected for some time. Her father was Abraham Robinson, mother Emma ?. They had land on Bear Run and Duck Run off Rt. 5, Gilmer County. My Grandmother was a daughter Susan that Married Daniel L. Varner. Also picked up a marriage license for Benjamin F.Collins and Eliza L. Butcher. His parents were Benjamin Collins and Elizabeth? Eliza parents were Jasper J. and Barbara Butcher. This may be of interest to some of you Butcher and Collins researchers. Other Surnames I am researching are Alkire, Beall/Bell, Keith, Collins, Bush, Simmons, Wilfong, Crummitt, Smith, Wright, Puffenbarger, Dennison, Cunningham,Davis, Radcliff/Ratcliff, Messenger, Queen,Rakes/Reikes,Eye,and Rexroad. Jones, a big hang up, here= Susan Jones Married Isaac H. Collins in 1844, Lewis County, Va/WV and her father Samuel Jones and William Collins were on the Marriage bond.
