I can tell you this much now, You descended from Caleb Letton[Litton] b. 1678 in Ottery St. Marys, Devon Co. England He came to Maryland in 1700 as a soldier in the British Army and served 20 years, He received a warrant for 400 acres of land in Prince George County in 1722 [now Montgomery County Md.[Rockville] and married Grace Burton, in 1723. One of his sons came to Betourt Co. Va.[Staunton] in 1745 and married Sarah Ann Wilcoxen They are both buried in Russell Co. Va. They had 15 children, one of which was James Harvey Litton Sr b. 1789 Russell Co. Va. and married 3 times, he had 13 children total. You descend from the 3rd marriage of James to Mary Elizabeth Wilson. He had a saddle shop and livery[Harness] in the town of Lebanon, VA and sold it in 1842 and move his business to Pike Co. Kty They had 3 children, two boys and one girl. John Thomas Litton Elizabeth Litton Augustavis[Gus] William Litton Gus married a Taylor and produced several children, of which a son, James, produced your Ethel Litton, This is all for now, as I am doing this from memory and do not have the data base in front of me.
